24/7 OPEN GYM RULES

Breach of rules 1-4 will automatically result in a loss of open gym fob access and possible instant removal/cancellation from the gym.

1 - No children within the gym in non staffed open gym hours (Gym Insurance regulation requirement)

2 - NEVER bring non members into the gym during open gym/non staffed hours. (Gym Insurance regulation
requirement)

3 - No olympic lifting/heavy barbell dumping on a Sunday! Saturday/Sunday always use noise reducing mats under barbell and limit barbell dumping (Brisbane City Council noise mitigation regulation)

4 - No training and or removing equipment outside of premises i.e. training in carparks prohibited etc. Running on pathway and use of weight vest is permitted (Gym Insurance and council regulation)

  • Upstairs lights will remain on 24/7 please feel free to use this area 24/7. Downstairs use is permitted while downstairs lights are on and or when a CrossFit class is not running.

  • Respect all equipment and return all equipment when finished. Follow safety precautions use Bench press safety/Support arms and safety mats when required. Do not climb ropes when alone in the gym, always use safety mats.

  • Do not attempt to operate turn on/off the large fan.

  • You may access music through the gym UE MEGABOOM bluetooth.

  • Clean up after yourself (mop up chalk, sweat/blood) its your gym take care and respect it. This also includes the bathroom. Turn off fans etc after use.

  • Be respectful to neighbours (carpark noise) arriving and leaving the gym.

  • All classes have priority over open gym (use upstairs for full 24/7 open gym access.

  • Open gym participants must not enter/train on the gym/crossfit floor during a class, this area is exclusively for crossfit/olympic lifting/gymnastic classes only during class times.

  • Gym floor is assessable during crossfit kids, however CrossFit kids classes has priority and may request you tomove if needed.

  • The cardio zone/front entrance section maybe used during class times only if the crossfit class are not using the cardio equipment during a WOD i.e Assault bikes, Ski ergs etc - Equipment may be taken from main gym floor into cardio/front entrance for use. i.e. Kettlebells, barbell, dead balls, etc and this equipment must be returned after use.

    We are a community gym first and foremost. We are opening up our home to the whole CFC community, be respectful to our home, your family within our home and our surrounding neighbours.
